One of the best things about the internet, is finding cool things that we can’t get here in New Zealand. So as it happens, I’ve just discovered ‘In God We Trust’–I’m not religious by any stretch of the imagination, but I’m loving the name!
The NY label is headed by Shana Tabor–a vintage enthusiast and collector, with a background in jewellery design. The label stocks a small selection of ‘vintage inspired’ men’s and women’s clothing, accessories, jewellery and apothecary. Everything is US made and they also have an in-house jewellery studio where they craft commission pieces too. I like the fact that their range is niche and quite small, because it means that you’ll end up with something quite special. They have 3 physical studios in NY, and luckily (although not for my wallet), they ship globally too, so I won’t have to save those extra pennies to get that international flight! Here are some of the things that caught my eye.
I’m not normally one for green, but this combo (above), really appeals to me: the vintage-look print, to the peplum frill top, the block coloured cuffs, and even the 3/4 pants (which would actually be full length on me!). But yeah, I do like the matchy-matchy thing going on too, although I have yet to pull that whole pyjama look together, but an outfit like this, could have me game enough to try! And of course, who doesn’t love a great jumpsuit, especially one with a foxy print!
Accessories, accessories…I couldn’t help but post this boob tote bag (below). I’m not sure if I’d ever use a breast-print bag, but it’s kinda fun.
