I almost feel naked without clutching onto a bag to hold all of my essentials. And although it seems like summer is already on our doorstep, there’s nothing wrong with keeping a little coloured faux fur at your side to keep your hands warm—and maybe even your face (as I did with this bag during weary nights at NZFW). When I head out the door with it, I feel like I’m carrying an all-in-one security blanket/pillow. I was able to fit a fair amount in it too, including a very portable recording device and microphone.
This dress has actually been one of my go-to’s over Autumn/Winter and it’s one of those easy Monday pieces that I don’t have to think about, plus the swing shape is great for hiding a short waist and I love the textured thick fabric which has tiny specks of blue woven through. I often wear it with stockings which has more of a cute girly vibe, and I layer a shirt, blouse or turtleneck underneath for work.
Wearing the dress layered over flares and heeled ankle boots adds the illusion of height that I so clearly need!
